Hello and welcome

Hi and welcome to my Betta site.

I am a breeder and Importer of Bettas from around the Globe.

What first started out as a small hobby for me has slowly taken over my life and due to the success of breeding, it has now become my complete passion, I would call it a full time job, but to be honest can you really call what you enjoy doing a job?

The reasons I have constructed this site is not only to sell the best possible Bettas, but I want to share my passion with all of you. I also wish to improve the Bettas we have in the United Kingdom and here in France, we may never be as good as the origin countries but we can give it a damn good try. I can also promise that to me you are not just a paying customer, some random person at the end of an email address, you are a friend that I will help any way I can and I will remember you and your fish. I will also be more than happy to receive pictures of your fish and any updates that you would like to share.

I am currently not importing any fish but am aiming to start importing approximately 150 fish and spawning 6 fish every month. These fish will be sold on my site and on Ebay on a regular basis with a varied viriety of fish each time.

I need to get new breeding pairs but I can guarantee that they will all from show quality Bettas and are Halfmoon, Crowntail, Halfmoon Plakat and Doubletail. I never mix the tails when spawning, unless I am trying to achieve a better tail, and keep to the purest lines I can. I believe in breeding a good Betta not just a pretty coloured mutt.

The Bettas I import are also the best quality I can lay my hands on consisting of Halfmoons, Halfsuns, Crowntails, Halfmoon Plakats, Rosetails, Doubletails, Crowntail Plakats and others. I also try to provide you with more unusual colour types as well as the more common ones.

I plan to go back to keeping the odd pair of wild type Betta. It will be small in the beginning but once I am fully back to Betta madness I will grow this area too.

Back In The Summer!

The Betta Lady is undergoing a whole new refurbishment including moving to a new premises but yes I AM BACK!

There is allot of work to be done at our new location so fish wont be on sale until the summer but bare with me cos I promise it will be worth it in the end.

The place is much larger so I will be able to hold a much larger stock which means more to choose from and each fish will have a bigger tank to swim around in. Having bigger tanks also means that the fish can have a planted tank rather than bare glass.

A new filtration system is being fitted using only natural rain and spring water that runs directly to a main sump that pumps the water through all the tanks. This means all the natural minerals remain in the water keeping the fish healthier. The new filtration is also very gentile which means no stress on the fish.

We are also branching out to France and Italy as well as the UK. However the Company might be growing but the service and friendliness will never change you will still be dealing with just me, not some stranger :)
